Agriculture (CEA)

Agriculture has been a pillar in Culpeper County’s economy throughout its history, and currently leads the state with the largest concentration of indoor ag throughout Virginia. We look to extend this lead with advancing technology.

Culpeper By Air

The Culpeper Regional Airport (CJR), open since 1969, provides easy access to the cosmopolitan while maintaining the charms of a small town. The Culpeper Regional Airport is home to the Culpeper Airfest, the best little airshow in the east, and NATA Formation Clinics twice a year!

"I was raised in Culpeper and now have the enjoyment of raising my own children and running my business here. Culpeper is ag-friendly and plays a vital role in our company’s success due to its close proximity to major highways and availability of hard-working, talented labor."

Owner, ColorOrchids

"Bingham and Taylor has been in business for nearly 170 years, and is proud to call Culpeper our corporate home for the past 70 years. We have enjoyed much support from the local community as well as the many businesses that have provided us with great employees and service. Culpeper has been a great place to have a business!”

Executive VP / General Manager, Bingham and Taylor

"Our company invested in the area because we felt that “Culpeper Works.” We felt that the community supported business, the local businesses supported community needs, and that the people living here wanted to work, to get up each day and come to work. Twenty five years ago we were right and now we are proud to be a part of the Culpeper Works community."
